All photos that are presented here were taken by me in 1998, when I was visiting Polanica Zdroj, a spa located in southern Poland. The flood began in the night, some 15 hours before my arrival. I was forced to walk about three kilometers on foot, because the bridges were destroyed (you can see one of them below) and the bus was not able to complete its route. Polanica Zdroj is located at the end of the Death Valley that gathers water from surrounding mountains. Usually easy small river once turned into a wild destroyer. About five people were found dead.
